Grain terminal
KLASCO grain terminal is one of the most modern grain terminals in Klaipeda port. With the construction of new silos at the end of 2011, up to 9 different products can be stored and loaded on vessels at the same time. The terminal has completely new accurate accounting equipment. All automated processes are controlled by experienced specialists. The terminal was chosen by the main grain exporters of the region, as the harmonious cooperation with “LTG Cargo” allows to ensure the smooth and uninterrupted operation of the terminal even during the autumn grain export peak.

Offshore and Onshore Wind (under development)
Klaipeda Stevedoring Company (KLASCO) is the developer of the first offshore wind assembly and loading terminal, which is on the Smelte Peninsula. This terminal is one of the most advanced infrastructure projects in Klaipeda, dedicated to the development of renewable energy sources, and has an area of 21 hectares in the territory of the former international ferry port. The quays of the Smelte peninsula (No.149, No.150, and part of No.151) will be reconstructed and adapted for the handling, assembly, and storage of wind turbines. Currently, the main berth reinforcement and area cleaning are being carried out here. The berths will have to withstand the weight of wind turbine components weighing more than 2,000 tons.
The offshore wind assembly and loading terminal is a unique project that will significantly contribute to the growth of the country’s economy and environmental sustainability. The terminal offers handling, pre-assembly, loading, and storage services for extremely large offshore wind components, which are required for the construction of a wind farm in the Baltic Sea. It is planned to install high-quality loading equipment, which will ensure fast and safe assembly and loading of cargo.
Terminal construction and installation are planned to be completed in 2026.
