Ferry (Ro-Ro) terminal

KLASCO Ferry Terminal is one of the biggest Ro-Ro terminals in the Baltic States and the only one in the port of Klaipėda.

Danish company „DFDS Seaways” is the only ferry line operator at the terminal. Its ferries connect the port of Klaipėda with the port of Kiel in Germany, Karlshamn in Sweden as well as Copenhagen and Fredericia in Denmark. Vessels, operating on these routes, transport more than 5 million tons of cargo each year.
The terminal has been functioning for more than 25 years, thus it is constantly modernized and updated. The terminal can service up to four ferries simultaneously.

  • Klaipeda - Kiel (Germany)
  • Klaipeda - Karlshamn (Sweden)
  • Klaipeda - Copenhagen – Fredericia (Denmark)

Services rendered:

  • all services required by Ro-Ro ferries;
  • loading/discharging of railway wagons onto/from ferries;
  • Ferry (ro-ro) terminal can serve up to 150,000 passengers annually;
  • cargo warehousing and storage in open and sheltered warehouses.

Area at the Quay No. 144

Quay No. 144 is designed to handle bulk and general cargo. As an option to handle cargo to/from vessels using gantry cranes, there is a posibility to use mobile cranes. Road and railway access.

  • Maximum ship's draft 10 m.
