Technological progress, continuous personnel training, indoctrination and assessment at KLASCO Training Centre help improve the level of work safety at the Company, and reduce the number of accidents. The personnel of the Work Safety Department control the compliance with relevant technologies in the course of cargo-handling and storage operations at the Company’s units, the condition of fire-fighting systems and potentially hazardous installations, technical maintenance intervals, the use of personal protective equipment, etc.

Civil defence drills are carried out at production units regularly. For the purpose of ensuring personnel safety, occupational risk assessment of work stations is carried out; such assessment defines harmful and/or hazardous physical, chemical, ergonomic and other work environment factors existing at the work stations. Upon completion of assessment, the most efficient personal protective equipment is selected.
