Quality management

With changing market demands and customer habits both in Lithuania and Europe, clients are setting ever higher standards for the service quality. With these goals in mind, Klaipeda Stevedoring Company AB has implemented and certified the Quality Management System according to ISO 9001:2001 standard in the year 2001, which enables the Company to control all processes to the maximum precise extent possible, to respond promptly to any changes, and to continuously ensure high quality of the services. The system facilitates optimizing the Company’s processes and creates conditions for reduction of errors. The Company is becoming more reliable, trustworthy, and more attractive for its partners and customers.

Certificate ISO 9001:2001 was approved in 2004 and 2007. In 2009, the Quality Management System was recertified in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2008 standard. Certificate ISO 9001:2008 is effective until 08-08-2016.

The quality management system supervision and certification audits are conducted by the auditors of LRQA Lietuva, UAB, the Lithuanian registered subsidiary of the United Kingdom Lloyd‘s Register Quality Assurance Ltd.
